Principal Responsibilities:

• Set and manage group budget. Identify, recruit, train, motivate, review and evaluate on a continuous basis resources to ensure the team performance and staff personal development to support EMI growth.

• Lead, unite and motivate EMI support team and Team from EMI country, ensuring that the necessary competencies are involved and utilized to meet business goal.

• Explore new technologies and evaluate competitors’ products through the use of benchmarking and other tools. Analyze product performance to identify improvement opportunities in cost, reliability, quality, and value-added. Identify opportunities to increase product value and manufacturing effectiveness through design and process changes for EMI business growth.

• Goal-setting and management of product development activities and industrialization of new products, and ensuring the product development results according to the business objectives.

• Management/Participation in product development from start to finish, selection and realization of product solutions. Responsible for component construction, advisory of parts selection, validation process, etc. Product activities including initial sample qualification, product test, product exercising, etc.

• Daily support activities around product with considerable input, and problem-solving within product area. Participation in supplier cooperation including supplier evaluation and supplier process audit. Participation in customer interview and other marketing activities and provide important opinions. Daily technical support to other function team.

  
  

  Job Requirements:

• BS or Master Degree in Engineering with emphasis in Thermodynamics, heat Transfer and refrigeration.

• 10+ years’ experience in HVAC product engineering, Room air-conditioner or unitary development experience is must.

• Prefer to have candidate from room air-conditioner company.

• Candidates from Japanese company or US Company is preferred.

• Factory working experience is a plus

• Strong in project management, PMI certify is preferred.

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• English written, spoken and reading mandatory

• Oversea working experience is plus.

• Oversea travel is required.
