RESPONSIBILITY:

• Lead a team of firmware, mobile APP software and cloud software developers to develop codes required by APAC projects as well as global projects

• Ensure firmware and software are properly tested using test cases established by the China team as well as the global team; launch beta testing trials to make sure smooth code launch is assured

• Work closely with the august development team (ie the global platform team) in San Francisco using global development methodology agreed to ensure quality or work and enabling global sharing of codes

• Work closely with APAC and global product management team to definition development feasibility and priorities

ACCOUNTABILITY：

• Drive business growth of smart door locks and other smart products in APAC

• Develop, communicate, and deliver the APAC generation plans for mobile APP and cloud software, in collaborate with the august team (global platform team)

• Assist where appropriate smart product companies on development of common product platforms to ensure all product synergies are maximized

• Keep track of relevant technologies, in the areas of software and cloud development

• Work closely with cloud operations team for investigation of and fixing issues in a timely manner

• Give appropriate technical training to sales personnel

AUTHORITY：

• Establishment of generation plans for products / solutions/ technologies

• Organization of review meetings to track progress and results

• Collaborate project teams to drive and coordinate activities

• Representation on behalf of APAC on the relevant Group councils and initiatives

REQUIREMENTS：

• Min 5 years working Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams working on consumer electronics products using the following technologies

• -Firmware

• -Mobile Software

• -Back-End Software

• Experience in managing quality assurance, in addition to development

• Experience in managing program managers a plus, but not required

• Experience in working with western companies, multi-national companies are preferred

• Clear evidence of achieving targets and delivering complex projects, in a global multi-located team

• Energetic, enthusiastic, ambitious, with strong desire to succeed

• Self-disciplined and independent requiring little supervision

• Structured and analytical in work approach

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills

• Professional English language capability and good experience/ exposure to western work culture is a must
