Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance and enforcement of all Safety, GMP, Regulatory, Product Quality, Company Policies, Government and Environmental requirements and laws
Embody, support, deploy and enforce the company Success Factors and strategy
Work as leadership team member of Engineering Department, to help the department support
Lead the New Product technical teams to support the success of new product introduction
Be responsible for building up key technical competency; Recruit, coach and develop a talented and highly motivated engineering team
Work as a key member to establish and improve the key engineering process development; Continuously improve work effectiveness and efficiency. Implement and Drive best-in-class engineering practices
Through proactive and timely communication to building collaboration internally and externally
Ensuring that all engineering specifications meet internal and external regulations; Improve engineering processes’ standardization
Lead department level or plant level initiatives
Manages directly and / or through subordinate supervisors, the activities of engineers, and / or technicians
Sets strategic goals, priorities and evaluates subordinate’s performance based on those goals and priorities.
Coaches and develops engineering personnel
Being responsible for engineering personnel compliance with company policies and quality systems
Being responsible for resource and capacity management, will hire, train, develop, and engage the best talent for the Engineering
Key Requirements:
minimum eight years related manufacturing or technical experience
minimum three years management experience
B.B.A. or B.S. in engineering or natural sciences or related curriculum
masters degree in Eng (preferred)
GMP / medical device industry expertise preferred
ISO 13485 / quality systems expertise and application
lean / SPC
be able to routinely make decisions which affect immediate operations and may have a company - wide effect
be able to promote quality excellence and lead by example
