Responsibility

• Develops, executes and/or manages engineering projects at the site to meet the proper efficiency, time, scope, budget, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Develops& drives maintenance plans for the site to ensure reliability of process equipment and site infrastructure. Works closely with production, warehouse and logistic to deal with the maintenance problems in time.

• Identify opportunities and make suggestions for improvement in production process.

• Functional excellence in local codes/standards, total productive maintenance, manufacturing support, problem solving.

• Executes applicable AkzoNobel policies, guidelines, processes, methodologies, working methods and systems. Ensue all equipment are designed and installed in line with company safety and asset integrity standard.

• Ensure proper staffing, (functionally) lead, coach, appraise and develop maintenance technicians, operators, and staff as appropriate.

• Secures outsourcing to designated third party provider as needed and manages third party providers while on site.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

• Bachelor degree or above majored in Engineering. Electrical or Instrument degree holder is preferred

• Above 10 years working experiences in engineering of MNC or JV, familiar with automatic/batch production.

• Solid experience in TPM & Capex project management, minimum 5 years in management position

• Familiar with chemical industry HSE&S regulations & laws; good knowledge and rich experiences on MOC, PTW, JSA and other engineering related risk control methodologies.

• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and other advanced analytical skills; good computer skills on Microsoft office, AutoCAD; CMMS, PLC,

• Effective communication skills.

• Fluent written and spoken English.

• Lean & 6 sigma knowledge is a plus
