Your essential responsibilities include: Define the work packages for the team in consultation with SkunkWorks leadership covering embedded software and hardware Define the software architectures in line with Automotive embedded domain's best practices and product functionalities. Set up best practices to derive software requirements from the system requirements and guide team for effective model builds in MATLAB environment Define work scope for management of contract resources for outside services such as AUTOSAR configuration, debugging, validations etc.. Work with scrum masters and technical product owners to manage work delvierables for the team at individual assigned project levels Evaluate tool-chain for quality, efficiency and inter-operability, propose integration of tools / software and introduce new tools with business rationale Coach, mentor team members for expertise in software engineering, their individual development in line with EATON leadership model and career avenues Maintain high standards of compliance to organizational process and measures in terms of operations, continuous improvement and capability enhancements Encourage systems design thinking and be resourceful to guide the project teams in devising solutions for new products and technologies Qualifications Ph.D / Masters in Mechanical / Automotive / Mechatronics / Electrical domains 7+ years of demonstrated experience in vehicle mechatronic / Embedded product development Systems Engineering (V&V), Requirements Engineering, MATLAB / Simulink, HiL / SiL Tests / Validations, MISRA, AUTOSAR, IEC standards Shall have hands-on experience in development of ECU / Controllers through V&V cycle for at least 2 projects for Vehicle domain Excellent drive to learn, execute with people and CFT in an agile environment, embraces uncertainty and works through in creating a value for the business units Yes!
