Job Duties:

● Take part in research & development projects related to the Internet-of-Things of Smart Living, Electromechanical systems, Health Care, Buildings and Transportation.
● Support on both technical and business development.
● Implement feasibility study projects, consultancy projects and/or government funded projects
● Assist in project management and administration such as client relationship management, suppliers management, resource planning and project execution etc
● Assist in providing design solution, preparing proposal, report and conducting robust presentation
● Assist in deploying new technologies to projects and enhancing the professional competencies to support the team’s sustainable development
● Participate in the promotional activities and the trainings related to the projects such as study missions, workshops, technical seminars, capability building and exhibition etc
● Station in HK. Occasional international travel may be required

Job Requirements:

● University Degree or above in Science or Engineering related to Biomedical, Computer, Construction, Electrical, Electronics, Management, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent.
● Fresh graduates with relevant hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
● Good knowledge with at least one of the following Internet-of-Things technical areas:

• Software programming (C++/python/Java etc…)
• Wireless technologies
• Networking and cloud
• Open-source platform riding on Git
• Machine Learning

● Sound knowledge in Deep Learning in voice, image and video analytics is regarded as bonus.
● Excellent interpersonal skills with strong client-driven mind-set, comfortable with people interaction
● Positive thinking, proactive, fast-learner and innovative
● Experience in liaise with government bodies, international enterprises, industry associations or professional bodies a plus
● Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua, with knowledge of other foreign languages a plus

Notes:
This is a Temporary position for a period of 12 months.

The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
