Join Intel's Switch and Fabrics Group (XFG). As an Engineering Program Manager you'll lead cross-functional engineering teams to develop next generation Ethernet switch products following Intel's Unified Product Life Cycle (UPLC). XFG, formerly Barefoot Switch Division, in NEX builds the world's fastest switches that are also fully programmable, ensuring the network can adapt to meet the emerging needs of applications and empower users to write solutions rapidly, and to innovate broadly.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead a matrixed, cross-functional Product Execution Team (PXT), responsible for developing and executing to the Product Schedule, Features, Quality, Budget, and Product Cost.
- Participate in product development from Product Concept through pre-silicon development, and product launch.
- Manage interdependencies across multiple engineering disciplines, programs, and stakeholders.
- Challenge engineering teams technically and enable them to deliver to their commitments, processes and milestones in order to accelerate project completion.
- Surface and mitigate risks/defects including leading technical task forces to ensure proper planning and issue resolution.
- Develop creative solutions, remove obstacles, and redefine approaches to balance cost, quality and delivery priorities.
- Communicate program status and plans to all levels of the organization.
- Develop program management business process improvements.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in program management
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering or related field with 10+ years of industry experience.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
