Engineering Program Manager

Job Description

As a Program Manager you will lead software programs for AI and Data Science in a highly matrixed cross organizational Artificial Intelligence and Analytics team. In a tight coordination with software engineering managers and software architects, in orchestration with other software and hardware program managers and technical marketing teams you will be a person critical for successful execution of the AI strategy at Intel.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Defining overall program scope with relevant partners, driving alignment with key stakeholders (product architects, marketing, engineering, and validation teams).

  • Interfacing with external teams through product managers and customer facing stakeholders.

  • Consolidating requirements from internal and external customers and stakeholders (hardware and software) across Intel.

  • Assuming a key role to assist guiding the Product Architecture and Engineering teams through product definition/architecture/engineering discussions in concept and feasibility phases.

  • Planning, resourcing, and tracking ideas from concept through prototyping or POC that can scale and ensuring a timely product Intercept.

  • Providing timely updates to senior management; managing risks and escalations.

  • Driving quality and process improvements for PLC principles.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, and 3+ years of hands-on technical program management experience to include, one or more of the following:

  • Engineering background.

  • Financial acumen and analytical capabilities in driving efficiencies.

  • PMP, CSCP, or another relevant professional certification.

  • Prior experience to innovate and drive change in a technical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering and 6+ years of hands-on technical program management experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
