Engineering Supervisor (Full-Time)

What you will be doing:

• As the Engineering Supervisor, you will cordinate of all projects (e.g. renovations, installations, repairs etc) and ensure department priorities are met and completed.

• You will monitor inventory of shelf stock and equipment and contribute to the development of the department maintenance budget and ensure compliance.

• You will synchronize the highest standards of general maintenance and possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems, knowledge of HotSOS will be a plus.

• In addition you will showcase your expertise by exercising good judgment and a strong intuition to anticipate the needs of the guests, and meet their existing concerns while leading by example for the team to emulate.

• You will provide feedback and recommendations and coach the team of engineers to expeditiously resolve all maintenance requests.

• Monitor and maintain quality through out the entire hotel.

 

Your experience and skills include:

• Excellent problem solving skills and organizational skills, including communication skills to maintain good relationships withother departemnts and complete every task with the utmost professionalism.

• An ability to work under pressure and remain poise and professional in very situation.

• A can-do, positive attitude that highlights your technical skills and abilities.

• An ability to naturally engage with guests and show empathy while meeting their challenges.

• Strong technical skills, HVAC certification a plus, Refrigeration, and plumbing required.
