Job Description

This is an opportunity to be part of the Intel's Rework Engineering Lab in Customer Platform TD organization.

We are looking for an experienced Rework Engineering Technician to assist our team.

The ideal candidate can solder and perform circuit and board rework on surface mount components, THM components and package reballing

Follow up the DOE test plan instructions, repair the boards and packages and collect the data required.

Interpret schematics and board Iayout drawings as well.

The candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits and/or skills:

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must possess a High School Diploma with 6+ years of experience or AA/AS with 1+ year of experience or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 6+months of experience in package modifications, package reballing, BGA/LGA and THM component repair and hand soldering repairs.
  • 6+months of experience in Component rework with Summit SRT tools and Solder Iron tools.
  • 6+ months experience thermal profile boards preparation
  • 6+ months Experience on SRT recipe creation, recipe settings and thermal profiles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of experience in Board rework capabilities.
