Role Summary:
The EID (Early Identification) Program is GE’s Internship Program designed to identify high-potential engineering students early in their academic career as possible candidates for GE Edison program (EEDP) or direct hiring.
The EID Internship Program offers students the opportunity to experience a real-life work environment at GE, developing the professional skills critical to a successful career, and a fast-track to the EEDP enrollment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Complete a 2+ months full-time technical assignment in engineering function
• Deliver project results meeting the evaluation criteria in the assignment team
• Complete required internship trainings defined in the program
• Strictly follow internal policy and GE compliance standard

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Undergraduate students or post graduate student who will graduate in year 2020
• Major in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics, Control, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Material, etc. [See GE Business-specific requirements]
• Demonstrated Academic excellence with a minimum GPA requirement (>3.0/4.0)
• Passion for engineering with strong technical attitude, innovation spirit, and an analytical approach to problem solving
• Strong commitment to a career in technology
• Self-motivated, self-confident team play with mature & positive attitude and fast learning ability
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin
