Responsibilities:

1. To lead and develop premium quality education programmes for kindergarten and playgroup via an inquiry-based approach.

2. To be responsible for the daily running and administration of classes whilst ensuring high quality care and early years teaching for the children, while adhering to School policies and procedures at all times.

3. To design and support the successful implementation of the curriculum by providing training and coaching to all teachers, learning specialists.

4. Keep abreast of current trends and best practices in pedagogy and represent the organization as a subject and learning expert.

5. Must possess abilities to utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to stimulate young children’s learning.

6. Logical and organized, this candidate should continuously improve curriculum, and provide guidance to teachers in carrying out personalised teaching.

7. Lead the teaching team to ensure programmes are delivered to the highest standards.

8. Develop systems and processes to deliver a consistent and exceptional learning experience for students.

Requirements:

1. Genuine interest in and love of children is must.

2. Native English speaker, with an excellent level of spoken and written English communication. A recognized degree or postgraduate qualification in education / training or related disciplines is preferred.

3. A good understanding of the Hong Kong education system with international school exposure.

4. Solid knowledge and experience in curriculum development in early childhood education ; experience with EYFS/inquiry is preferred.

5. Progressive thinking, with an open mindset and keen to make changes to the current education scene.

6. Prior experience with parent communication would be ideal.

7. All the prospective employees will be required to undergo the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) and to provide the documents.
