Christian Alliance International School (CAIS), a non-profit making school wholly owned by Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance, invites applications for English-Humanities Teacher (Grades 7–12).

Duties and Responsibilities

The English-Humanities Teacher will provide instruction mainly in integrated English-Social Studies courses in grades 7 through 12 and one or two other subjects by arrangement.

Qualifications and Experience

Education and Training

• Bachelor of Education (or equivalent teaching credential) with major in English and/or social science required

Experience

• Prior experience in teaching secondary school English and/or social science strongly preferred

English Language Competency

• Native proficiency in spoken and written English required

Effective Date of Employment

The starting date for this appointment is August 15, 2019. Initial contracts are normally 2 years in duration.
