Christian Alliance International School (CAIS), a non-profit making school wholly owned by Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance, invites applications for the position of English Language Arts (Humanities) Teacher.

Duties and Responsibilities

The English Language Arts (Humanities) Teacher will provide instruction mainly in integrated English-Social Studies courses and one or two other subjects by arrangement.

Qualifications and Experience

Education and Training

• Bachelor of Education in Secondary (or equivalent teaching credential) with major in English and/or social science required

Experience

• Prior experience in teaching middle years or secondary English and/or social science strongly preferred

English Language Competency

• Native proficiency in spoken and written English required

Effective Date of Employment

The starting date for this appointment is August 15, 2019. Initial contracts are normally 2 years in duration.
