Job Description
Shanghai New Epoch Bilingual School is SEEKING TEACHERS for the 2017/2018 academic year. Our school is an expanding American high school located on Chongming Island, which is part of Shanghai’s outer suburbs metropolitan area.
Only applicants from North America, Australia, and the United Kingdom are being considered at this time. Being currently in China is an advantage and/or the ability to teach more than one subject. We are seeking to hire teacher for the following courses:
General Description:
Job Titles to be Hired: We are seeking three (3) English Language Arts teachers at an international high school in Shanghai that will begin its third year in August. We will hire 1 English Foundations (NOT an ESL course) teacher (Grade 9), 1 Honor’s English teacher (Grade 10), and 1 English Literacy (NOT an ESL course) teacher (Grade 9).
The Teachers are responsible for providing students with an engaging learning environment throughout their course of study. This includes delivering lessons to the highest standards of instruction in the subjects that have been listed above (the ability to teach more than one subject is a plus), thus enabling students to reach their personal learning objectives and become competent users of English as an academic language.
We are seeking to fill the above-mentioned positions for a September 2017 start (contracts to begin August 15th, 2017). Minimum Requirements:

-Ability to work on a team & be cognizant of others' sensibilities
