Job Description-Literature Teacher

1. Position: High School Literature Teacher
2. Starting date: August, 2024
3. Probation period: One month
4. Location: Haidian, Beijing, China

5. Job Description:
 Teaching hours: No more than 20 periods per week (40 minutes/ period)
(Teaching hours might be adjusted based on the school evaluation after probation)
 Office hour: At least 2 office hours per week
 Club :1 period per week
 Writing recommendation letter for students when necessary
 Be on campus at least 30 hours per week (including teaching hours)

6. Job Requirements:
Responsible, outgoing, cooperative, passionate about education, equipped with
strong cultural awareness and flexibility
 Bachelor’s degree or above in English literature-related major
 At least two years English teaching experience or 120-hour TEFL/TESOL/CELTA
certificates holders
 Native English speaker only
 Under 50 years old

7. Salary and Benefits:
 Monthly salary（before tax）,including:
 Post salary：21,000 RMB-30,000 RMB /month before tax, based on experience
(Post salary might be adjusted based on the school evaluation after probation.)
 Housing Allowance (tax free) : 7,000RMB/month（12 months/Year）
 Transportation Allowance: flight reimbursement (maximum 10,000 RMB)
 Chinese Social security account will be provided (Including medical insurance)
 School year bonus
 Reward for publishing articles or books related to subject teaching
 Reward for renewing the contract
 Chinese legal holidays and fully-paid winter vacation

8. Work Permit/Visa Requirement:
 Embassy/Consular authentication required for highest academic degree,
Non-criminal record and qualification certificates
 Employment certificates/ recommendation letters required
 Qualified medical check report required
 Valid residence permit, cancellation letter and release letter required for candidates
who already work in China and would like to change jobs .
