Upper School English Language and Literature Teacher for International-track AP/A-Level courses and within other EAL programmers in Hangzhou Int'l School, Start in August2026.

1.Salary: RMB 25,000–35,000 per month according to degree, relevant experience and school-based evaluation.

Job DescriptionPosition and Main Responsibilities:
Upper School English Language and Literature Teacher
Working within the remit and targets set by the Senior Leadership Team, and under the direct, day-to-day supervision of the Head of Department for your curriculum responsibilities, you will:•Teach English Language and Literature within other EAL programmers, as
required.•Adhere to curriculum timelines, planning of time and meeting due deadlines.
Working Time:
1.You have a responsibility to participate in meetings which relate to the curriculum or theadministration or organisation of the school, including morning briefings and pastoralarrangements.
2.As this is a boarding school, you will—together with all members of the academic staff—be expected to undertake boarding duties.
Requirements
1.Native English speakers from the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or Canada.
2.Bachelor's degree in a relevant English field. A master's degree is preferred.
3.A recognised teaching qualification: examples include PGCE, QTS, state-issued teaching license / credential, or international equivalents such as TEFL/TESOL (minimum 120 hrs) or CELTA. Evidence of current registration or licensure, where applicable, should be provided.
4.Preferred qualifications include documented experience teaching AP, A-Level, or ELA within an international-school setting, demonstrating familiarity with respective assessment objectives and the ability to deliver rigorous, inquiry-driven lessons to upper school students.
5.Have knowledge and experience of English Language and Literature.
6.Know and understand the National Curriculum Attainment Targets andexamination Syllabus in the subjects, and also the framework of the statutory requirements.
7.Have specialist knowledge and experience in English Language and Literature to a high standard.
