Qilu University of Technology （Shandong Academy of Sciences）(QLUT) is a public school, and was founded in 1948, located in Jinan, a historical and cultural city known as the City of Springs.It is the first batch of bachelor’s degree-granting units of the Country and a master’s degree-granting unit, which is recognized by the mainstream mass media as“The Top Ten Most Reputable Universities” in Shandong Province and “The Most Competitive University In Student Employment”.

An English teacher/tutor is required to teach English as a second language to University students. The goal is to help students truly learn English, to be able to understand, speak, and write it like a native; to help students to speak English fluently and easily with friends, colleagues, and classmates.
Through the per-arranged activities such as student self-introduction, a group discussion on different topics, group debate, and English corner etc, the tutor will provide students with the knowledge needed to live and study comfortably in an English speaking country. The teaching/tutoring focuses on conversational English, while also touching on grammar, pronunciation, writing, reading comprehension, and the cultures from other English speaking countries.


1.English classes: To teach Physics in high school with the students ages from 16-19 years old.
2.English Activities: To cooperate with the Chinese teacher’s team for the work of activities, such as: English corners, festival activities, English contests，parties and the other activities if needed.
3.Teachers’ Training: To share with the teachers regular English language and teaching methods training.
4. Complete other tasks assigned by the leader.

(i) a bachelor’s degree in English Language or English Literature or English Studies or Linguistics or a Modern Language# from a university or equivalent is preferred;
(ii) a TEFL/TESL qualification at least at the diploma level, or equivalent is a plus; and
(iii) 1 year’s post-graduate experience of teaching English (preferably as a second or foreign language) at secondary level or above.
