American Eagle Institute’s Introduction
American Eagle Institute was established in 1997, our school has more than 40 campuses across Taiwan and China. One of the fastest growing areas is here in Chengdu, where two new kindergartens are expected to open over the next two years. With this, we will be looking with in our own staffing to seek out professional, positive and committed teachers to take on future management positions.

The Job
American Eagle Institute’s international campus is currently looking for a responsible and experienced English teacher. The English teacher will be leading two classes of students through our curriculum as well as assisting with daily routines. The teacher should have relevant teaching experience, great communication skills and a love for creative learning.

The Curriculum
Our International program offers full day immersive English to our students. On top of the morning of fun filled English learning, the afternoon programming lets students explore music, mathematics, science, and physical education. The course materials consist of a series of English textbooks developed by McGraw Hill.

Main Responsibilities
-Maximum of 40 working hours per week
-Oversee the implementation of the curriculum
-Monday to Friday schedule
-Assist in school’s promotional events
-Regular ongoing training
-Support teaching staff
Compensation
-Expected Earnings: RMB 19,000-25,000 per month
-Working hours from 8:30 to 5:30
-Paid two weeks summer and winter vacation and national holiday
-Meal allowance
-Housing allowance
-Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided by the school
Requirements
-Authenticated bachelor’s degree
-TEFL certificate
-Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or Ireland
-1 years of relevant teaching experience preferred
