Local Teacher Recruiter

The Local Teacher Recruiter is responsible for providing high quality full time and/or part time teachers at a time and place to meet our Online Teaching Centre needs and objectives. They also actively develop relationships within EF and the education sector to promote the EF brand and develop EF as employer of choice. They are responsible for ensuring effective and efficient processing of recruits through marketing, first round selection and assessment of leads to arrival data.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Builds applicant source pool by researching, contacting and developing new marketing channels and mining existing channels; developing relations on social media and job sites; attending and presenting at job & employment fairs.

2. Ensures sufficient leads are engaged to maintain a pipeline of recruits, enforcing a tight turnaround time between lead application & response (typically less than 24 hrs) so as to increase EF competitiveness in the job marketplace.

3. Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing, analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing competence to job requirements; comparing fit to EF core values and culture; and regulating compliance to EF hiring policies and eligibility standards.

4. Actively participates in quality control and selection meetings.

5. Actively builds and maintains trusting relationships with recruits by setting clear expectations, and avoiding misunderstandings about work conditions, benefits policies and procedures.

6. Builds collaborative relationships with teams with Online Teaching Centre staff, ASOT and key stakeholders in products.

7. Is committed to developing professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Requirements

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Proactive, outgoing, independent, and target-driven

• Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

• Bachelor’s degree or above

• Recruitment or English teaching work experience preferred
