Job Responsibilities
Teach oral English, listening, situational interactive lessons and international English courses for junior high students. Design lively and age-appropriate lessons to improve students’ listening, speaking skills and language sense.
Cooperate with local Chinese English teachers to connect daily teaching, implement the school’s English syllabus and help improve students’ overall academic performance.
Take part in teaching research, open classes, English corners and campus English events to build an immersive English learning environment.
Keep class learning records, update parents and teachers on students’ progress, and assist with assessments as well as remedial & advanced tutoring.
Comply with school regulations and complete other teaching assignments arranged by the institution.
Job Requirements
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or above; valid TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate eligible for official government filing.
Competency: Skilled in interactive junior high teaching with energetic classes; patient, responsible, able to engage teenage students effectively.
Experience: Prior ESL teaching experience at primary or junior high school preferred; familiarity with Chinese middle school English curriculum and new curriculum standards is a plus.
Miscellaneous: Good moral character with no criminal or bad employment records; physically fit for long-term stable employment; cooperate with the school to apply for Chinese work visa and relevant registration documents.
