ENGLISH TEACHER ( IB DP )

Excellent teachers are key for an excellent school where happy and devoted students
prosper. We are looking for teachers who like to work and help young people grow.
Teachers are expected to be highly qualified and experienced professionals in the subject
they teach.
Teachers report directly to, and work with the related Head of Department on all matters
concerning the teaching and development of their subject and academic resources.
Teachers work closely with the IBDP Coordinator on the broader curriculum, with the
Director of Students on student-related matters, and report to the Academic Principal and
Head of School on contracts & employment, and school affairs in general.

We expect the English teacher to have the following qualifications and experience：
- First degree to at least Bachelor, with a major related to the English language or
English literature.
- Detailed knowledge of IBDP English B.
- Teaching degree or qualification
- Minimum of two years teaching in the IBDP program

We expect the teachers to carry out the following duties:
- A full teaching load or equivalent
- Responsibility of advisor/homeroom teacher
- Participation in school programs, such as the Orientation and the Project Week
- Supervision in various activities, including activities designed by the teachers
themselves, and activities either promoted by the school or designed by the
students, which align with the subject or specialty of the teacher
- Providing feedback appropriately and regularly to students and parents
- Attendance at school meetings, such as faculty meetings, department meetings,
PTA meetings, etc.
- Participation in professional Development, both mandated by the school, the IBO
and identified by the teacher
- Fulfillment of other reasonable requests made by the school
