CSOFT is looking for freelance English technical writer with extensive experience creating IT technical documentation into their native language.

Responsibilities

• Study product samples and talk with Product Manager when necessary
• Write or revise supporting content for products
• Incorporate animation, graphs, illustrations, or photographs to increase users’ understanding of the material
• Work with Project Managers to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Create and maintain the information architecture

Requirements

• Proven working experience in technical writing of software/hardware documentation
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to details
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Excellent written skills in English
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/FrameMaker/Photoshop
• Can read Chinese is a plus
• Be based in China mainland
