The enterprise data quality capability lead will be part of the leadership team of the recently established enterprise data and analytics architecture and governance organization (aka Corporate Data Office). This organization has a significant cross-Intel impact and focuses on providing a data advantage to Intel from data strategy and governance to execution and improving business outcomes.
This position needs strong data quality capability enablement, product owner and service delivery mindset and needs to be recognized as a trustworthy advisor in their domain expertise and responsibility by senior technologists and principal engineers across multiple organizations, top group management level, and respected by peers in both business and IT.
The position has a strong player-captain role i.e., significant individual contribution scope, as well as requires management of a small team of high-performing data practitioners.
Responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
- Own, drive, and be responsible for the establishing and operationalizing enterprise data quality-as-a-service capability, product management, strategy, framework, KPI metrics, playbook, service charter, stakeholder engagement, and program execution.
- Lead the data quality working group meetings and effectively partner with cross-functional IT and business stakeholders and ensure data quality use cases are captured, prioritized, and appropriately actioned according to the data quality policy and procedures.
- Develop and promote disciplined and proactive data quality approaches and tool adoption that ensure improvement in business outcomes.
- Build a business rules library and ensure data definitions and functional aspects are captured accurately and sufficiently.
- Engage with Business/Data stewards for data quality remediation oversight, appropriate triaging and escalation to data governance councils, and drive improvements in DQ health scorecards.
- Enable advanced data anomaly detection mechanisms such as AI/ML-assisted self-healing data curation solutions.
- Ensure data quality work is tightly integrated with metadata, glossary, and data catalog solutions.
- Partner with rest of the data governance enabling teams responsible for master data, analytics and insights delivery, data architecture, platform engineering, and data literacy to ensure a holistic operating model.
- Communicate technical solutions to business partners in a meaningful way and pro-actively resolve any escalations or issues raised with respect to the operational delivery.
- Perform continuous improvement in the product features and conduct comprehensive cost/benefit, fit gap, and pro/con analysis as needed to ensure innovation and lean-end-state data landscape at Intel.
- Follow, role-model, and mentor mature software development lifecycle associated with agile methodology - such as requirements gathering and assessment, backlog management and prioritization, software build, validation, test, path to production, quality, and support.
- Mentor and educate more junior data and analytics team members.
- Help with planning data quality product team resources, performance reviews, and contributing to and complying with the organization's budgetary decisions.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, Technical MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related field (focus on Data and Analytics is preferred)
- 9+ years of experience in data and analytics, with focus on data quality management, data governance, and enterprise-scale service capability operations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in:
- Planning, establishing, and operationalizing data quality as a capability for enterprise
- Implementing/leveraging one or more industry leading DQ solutions from vendors such as Collibra, Informatica, SAP, Ataccama, Talend, Syniti and/or others
- Data governance solutions such as metadata management, data cataloging solutions, data integration, master, and reference data management, enterprise data fabric, etc.
- Scrum Agile/SAFE methodologies, JIRA, and practices including Minimum Viable Product
- Technical experience with Python (panda), SQL or similar languages

Inside this Business GroupIntel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$121,260.00-$193,880.00

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
