Job Description

As a Enterprise Sales Director, you will be responsible for achieving yearly sales targets by gaining new customers as well as identifying sales possibilities at existing customers. As part of your activity you will maintain relationship and work closely with Partners as appropriate. 

Key Responsibilities 
·         Expand market share of SDL CXM Content and Analytics Technology solutions (CAT) through winning new customers and increase penetration of existing customers
·         Focus on the business side of targeted organizations, identify business drivers and needs, and win key projects
·         Position SDL CXM as a long-term strategic partner for our target organizations
·         Organize and deliver product presentations for prospects and customers with the assistance of product specialists
·         Lead virtual Account Teams in finalizing and implementing RFI’s, RFP’s and orders
·         Further developing SDL CXM CAT’s market in a creative and entrepreneurial style. Identify opportunities and market needs for new solutions or expanding existing solutions
·         Defining the right business proposition
·         Monitor product implementation cycle
·         Conducting direct sales with end users by means of software license and support agreements
·         Establish and maintain a valuable network in the field of Users, establish Partnerships with various System Integrators, Value Added Re-sellers, Consultancy organizations and Application Providers
·         Establish and maintain a valuable multi-level personal network in the industry- Executive and IT level
·         Represent SDL CXM CAT in a highly professional way
·         Actively participate in demonstration and presentations
 
Ideal skills and experience: 
·         Knowledge of and experience with the business context where SDL solutions are used (marketing communications, e-commerce, e-business, internet)
·         At least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in direct sales of software technology, software development tools and/or application software to business level and IT decision-makers
·         Sufficient general knowledge of information technology and IT infrastructures, as well as an adequate understanding of current trends influencing IT decisions
·         A valuable network in the field of Users and Partners
·         A valuable multi-level personal network in the industry (Executive and IT level)
·         Experience in working in a competitive and target oriented environment
·         Persuasive, results-orientated and practical, eager to open up new business opportunities and win business from the competition
·         Relationship builder, diplomatic, capable of dealing with complex situations
·         Fast learner
·         Able to work as part of a team, including product manager, technical writers and testers
·         Flexible, enthusiastic, independent, self-starting and goal-oriented
·         Preferably experience in working for a software product company at some time in your career
·         Able to face tight deadlines
·         Able to recognize new opportunities
·         University or Bachelor Degree
