Job Description
Reporting to the Enterprise Services (ES) Director of Finance, this position is responsible for accounting, reporting, and analysis of the Enterprise Services multi-year strategic Managed Equipment Service (MES) and performance-based contracts. Partnering with the Customer Engagement Manager, this role will drive the financial execution during operational phase, including forecasting project financials, ensuring timely and accurate customer billings, cash flow projections, obtaining and maintaining appropriate security instruments and monthly closing of project financial results. The position interfaces regularly with cross-functional areas (D&A, Life Cycle Management, Sales, Order Management, Zones, etc.) as well as management in US and Germany. Candidate should be a self-starter, excellent communicator and be able to work with all levels of the organization. This position will have a high degree of involvement with various Stake Holders across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Drive commercial execution plan for strategic project plans, proposals etc. Coordinate with customer finance team to align on performance-based contract baselining, measuring & reporting Support overall project governance process Conduct relationship & financing activities with 3rd financiers Execute Contract revenue reconciliation of contractual obligations Prepare balance sheet positions & reconciliations Drive price, cost & margin analysis for contractual addendums/change requests Coordinate Budgeting & forecasting of assigned projects Perform Inter-company order reconciliations & eliminations Prepare Cash flow evaluation and forecasting Report Non-conformance cost reporting (NCC) & and Risk Analysis Perform Implementation & adherence to published accounting guidelines Contribute into a continuous administrative & ERP system improvement Support functional or business practice guidance on projects or programs Collaborate with partners with management of subject area to drive financial performance against complex goals Capabilities Required for the Position: • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance, or Business; MBA desirable • Experience: 5-8 years of progressive analytical experience in a Services environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • SAP, Hyperion, MS Power Platforms & Qlik experience preferred General Requirements: Drive financial analysis at very complex levels, to determine accuracy and completeness of information, acting as advisor to management providing feedback & recommendations, support actions to improve financial results. Contribute on financial reports development, support on dataset and dashboards for reviews with management financial plans and budgets. Secure conformance to IFRS requirements. Conduct commercial/contract activities, pricing, margin calculations, etc. Ability to form relationships and collaborate across global matrixed functions. Drive continuous improvement, digitalization of processes, tools, collaborative value creation and knowledge sharing. Build effective customer and business relationships to achieve goals in alignment with the strategy. Education: BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree. Certification may be required in some areas. Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful completion of complex assignments. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates strong knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.
