Position Summary:

As Industry Expert you play an important role in the Environmental Engineering new business team.

Based on your knowledge, experience and network you will help to define the right portfolio for the market and help making the right product development decisions.

It is therefore very important that you have a wide experience in the field of environmental engineering, that you know what the market drives, what (software) tools, methodologies and technologies are being used and that you can advise on them.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Do market research
• Advise on the use of software tools
• Advise on feature development
• Advise Bentley software Users on the choice of applications and the best use thereof.
• Present/speak on public events
• Build out and maintain a professional, research and scientific network

What You Bring to The Team:

• You have a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or for example one of the following engineering disciplines: chemistry, geotechnology, fluid dynamics, etc. all paired with sound environmental engineering or environmental consultancy experience;
• You have commercial sense, preferably supported by a degree in Business Administration
• You are a self-starter;
• You feel at home in a business development environment
• You combine customer focus with being service oriented and highly motivated;
• You have a positive attitude, eye for detail, are resourceful and inquisitive;
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present information to colleagues, users and interested parties via phone, web and face-to-face;
• Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required;
