- Purpose of the Position 
• Development and execution of plant automation strategy to deploy innovation & new technology resulting in a superior product in terms of high quality & low cost. 
• Drive equipment fundamental understanding to work with cross-function team on solving equipment problems by engineering solution. 
• Manage the plant's equipment to achieve manufacture performance excellence. Supports or leads equipment improvement activities, new product/equipment introductions and cost reduction projects. 
• Responsible for supervising the daily operations of tooling manage. Required to perform testing, analyze data, provide equipment disposition and troubleshooting when necessary. Provide training and maintain adequate records for the department and new equipment transfer, buy off and validation procedures as necessary to meet plant’s system regulations
 
- Day to Day Responsibilities

• Leads and manages cross-functional and matrix teams. 
• Defines, prioritizes and executes an overall project plan. 
• Defines skill sets and resources needed to accomplish objectives. 
• Defines and monitors the budget. 
• Identifies risks and develops mitigation plans. 
• Communicates results, progress to plan, and any key issues to leaders, business unit leadership, and team members. 
• May use engineering and manufacturing feedback to ensure a scalable manufacture in process." - Reporting Structure Immediate Supervisor: Yin Xiaofeng, Equipment team 

Education and Experience 
• Bachelor Degree or above of Manufacturing Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
• At least 10 years relevant equipment management experience in plastic and automation field.

Required Skills 
• Good solid works, CAD/CAM, mechanical design and equipment design skills 
• Thorough understanding of how to optimize both equipment configuration and control logic to maximize part quality, reduce scrap and minimize cycle time 
• Good project management skills 
• Excellent equipment and part debug skill 
• Excellent root cause analysis skill 
• Basic Machine safety knowledge 
• On-site tooling qualification and operations management skills
