China Renaissance is recruiting junior Equity Research Analyst in Shanghai!

• The research associate will work in conjunction with and support the lead analyst on all aspects of developing and marketing equity research products with respect to the Chinese TMT companies, including research reports, models, and industry analysis.
• Provide deep-dive research for equities, key and pertinent market drivers from top-down and bottom-up perspectives with robust knowledge of stocks.
• Build and run financial models and provide market analyses.
• Engage data analysis and summary to describe current and long term trends in the sector, maintain database information.
• Provide investment recommendations based on risk assessment of short and long-term prognosis of individual companies and prepare statistical exhibits and conduct presentations for senior management officials and clients.

• Strong writing and analytical skills. Associates are responsible for writing and producing equity research reports, company initiations, and marketing presentations—often under very tight time constraints; ideal candidates shall have some writing experience in the form of published analyst research, preferably in English.
• A passion for the stock market and equity research; Interest in/focus on TMT companies preferred
• Fresh graduates or junior Analyst with relevant internship/work experience in the financial industry (investment banking, equity research or investment management fund) or TMT companies preferred.
• Understanding of financial analyses (modelling, valuation) and usage of financial resources (TEJ, Bloomberg, etc) with strong business insights.
• Ideally relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, economics or engineering, Master preferred.
• Proactive and meticulous with strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, an ability to multi-task.
• Excellent Mandarin and English language skills, both written and spoken, and good communications skills.
