Basic description:
• Fundamental equity research work that covers data collection, financial analysis, valuation and writing
• Work with Singapore-based ASEAN Equity Research team (covering the Financials sector of Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia) of a bulge-bracket investment bank
• Role is offshore and communication will be mainly by email or telephone

Responsibilities:
• Collecting financial, macro and regulatory data through primary and secondary research methods
• Searching for, sorting through and translating (when necessary) relevant news
• Preparing monthly reports
• Summarizing data releases, events and news
• Maintaining and sometimes creating databases – monthly/quarterly data
• Maintaining and sometimes creating earnings models
• Listening to and summarizing conference calls

Requirements:
• Native or highly fluent in Indonesian language
• Fluent in English
• Sound understanding of financial statements and concepts
• With previous work experience—preferably related/relevant
• Familiarity and proficiency in Bloomberg or other databases a plus
• Bachelors or Masters in Management/Business/Finance an advantage but not a must
• Additional qualifications such as CFA, CPA or ACCA also an advantage but not a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; VBA not a must but an advantage
• Preferably with some previous or current exposure to financial model building, knowledge of different valuation metrics, and experience in report writing
• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Commitment to learning and to the job
• Not likely to work long hours, but need to be willing when necessary
