Position Description: MOTOROLA - OFFICE SÃO PAULO Responsibilities: • planning, developing and implementing PR strategies • communicating with colleagues and key spokespeople. Teamwork cross areas with the entire company • liaising with, and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations • researching, approving and coordinating press releases distribution to targeted media • collating and analyzing media coverage • writing and editing in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports • preparing and supervising the product launches in the country, including the coordination of the PR agency and the production agency • organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours • maintaining and updating information on the organization's media center / blog • sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities • commissioning market research • fostering community relations through events such as open days and through involvement in community initiatives • managing the media relations of the company • managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation. Global Marketing Integration: • Work closely with Motorola Product, Product Marketing, Brand to tell the Motorola story Support Media Engagement and Events • Recommend media outlets / influencers to engage with • Assist Regional PR leads at media and consumer events hosted by Motorola or partners Travel Requirements. #### Position Requirements: Qualifications: • Communications, Public Relations, English, Marketing Bachelor's Degree • 7-10 years work experience • Excellent writing • Native Portuguese speaking • Advanced English • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time • Team player, willing to assist on tasks small or large • Experience pitching media / influencers and coordinating stories with them • Some small and large scale event coordination experience • Proficient in google and Microsoft suite • Agency experience Nice to haves: • Graphic design background - ability to work adobe Photoshop • Experience with consumer/ consumer electronics brand • Experience working on global team or company • Spanish speaking We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
