Responsibilities

• Read and interpret complete sets of drawings/ bid documents.
• Evaluate drawings and bid specifications to determine project requirements and estimate cost to achieve profitability goals of the company.
• Prepare detail estimates including detail quantity and costing of materials, equipment, and manpower etc.
• Utilize database for maintaining estimates/ proposals, reports, information and record of communications.
• Review material equipment and labor requirements to determine cost effectiveness and assessment of an estimate’s accuracy upon completion.
• Maintain open and cordial communication and good working relationship with engineer, production, and management team.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and schedules with attention to detail.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification/Requirements

You are an experienced, self-motivated, creative and detailed oriented individual with retail fixture knowledge. You are computer literate with an astute analytical ability. You thrive in a fast paced environment.

• 5 years estimating experience in relevant/related industry.
• Working knowledge of wood manufacturing.
• Ability to effectively communicate with strong, written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable and experienced with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Strong arithmetic, conceptual and analytical skills, able to see connections in data and attention to detail.
