Eaton is currently seeking an Ethics & Compliance Counsel to join our team at our headquarters located in Beachwood, OH or Moon Township, PA or within a 50-mile radius from any Eaton location. America plays a leadership role in driving Eaton's ethical culture - "listen up, speak up, follow up" - across Eaton businesses in North America and the Caribbean. The incumbent will lead internal investigations, build connectivity with business leaders, support managers in driving an ethical culture, create and deliver training and communications, provide counsel and guidance to leaders and employees on ethics issues, analyze and present on key ethics and compliance metrics, and support key projects in furtherance of E&C program goals Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. In this role you will: Lead internal ethics investigations in partnership with business and functional leaders, particularly Human Resources, across North America and the Caribbean. Responsibilities include strategy, case management, witness interviews, ensuring process fairness and organizational justice, sharing lessons learned, and identifying root cause. Develop and delivery original ethics training and communications in the region, including manager training, employee speak up training, policy training, periodic communications, presentations, and reports. Leverage multiple media platforms including video, audio, and presentations to creatively deliver core E&C messages. Develop relationships with key business leaders in order to build connectivity and share key risk information, metrics, and lessons learned. Support key E&C projects, including quarterly reporting to the Board, analytics, matter management, anticorruption assessments, root cause analysis, M&A due diligence and acquisition integration. Lead projects as assigned, leveraging project management tools as needed. Advice and counsel Eaton leaders and employees on ethics issues. Participate on Law Department teams focused on functional excellence and process improvement. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and admitted to any state bar 3 years’ experience post J.D.
