Job Summary The Ethics and Compliance Manger - Mexico is a champion for Eaton's high integrity, ethical culture and commitment to compliance with law. This is a highly visible, leadership role that functions as the face of Ethics and Compliance for Mexico. The individual in this role will: be a business partner to senior leaders, assess and mitigate key risks, develop and lead communications and training, lead internal investigations, provide advice and guidance to employees on ethics issues, analyze data and present key metrics and trends, and support key projects in furtherance of Ethics and Compliance program goals. Job Responsibilities Create and implement a strategy for ethics and compliance in Mexico based on the unique risks and business factors in the country. Function as a business partner to senior business leaders in Mexico, including the Corporate President, in order to establish and maintain a strong ethical ""tone at the top"" as well as identify and mitigate risks to the business. Meet regularly with key leaders both in Mexico and at Division, Group and Sector levels to share risk and trend information and ensure alignment on mitigation strategies. Lead internal ethics investigations in partnership with business and functional leaders, particularly Human Resources and Law, across Mexico. Responsibilities include developing strategy, conducting witness interviews, ensuring process fairness and organizational justice, case management, identifying and sharing lessons learned and root cause. M Develop and deliver original ethics training and communications, including manager training, employee ""speak up"" training, policy training, periodic communications, presentations, and reports. Leverage video, audio, internal social media, and presentations to creatively deliver core messages. Lead and support key E&C projects, including ""Mexico Ethics Week,"" anticorruption risk assessments, quarterly reports to the Board of Directors, data analytics, matter management, root cause analysis, M&A due diligence, and acquisition integration. Advise Eaton leaders and employees on ethics and compliance issues. Participate on Law Team projects and teams focused on functional excellence and process improvement. #LI-MM3 Qualifications Qualifications Education level required: Bachelor's Degree. Years and area of experience required: Minimum 7 years' work experience post-Bachelor's Degree. Technical Knowledge: Experience conducting internal corporate investigations or conducting litigation; knowledge of anticorruption laws, including U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and compliance programs strongly preferred; experience and skill in data analytics and project management strongly preferred; written and spoken fluency in English required. Soft skills: Strategic thinking; strong drive for results; empathy and ability to listen; political savvy; managerial courage; ethical with a high degree of personal integrity; ability to leverage resources and lead teams without direct reporting authority; highly accountable; transparent.
