Background
Airbnb’s Ethics & Compliance Program embodies the company’s innovative, forward-thinking spirit, with a focus on protecting Airbnb and its community through ensuring we operate in compliance with legal requirements, and do so with the highest ethical standards. We’re looking for an operational leader with program management experience in the compliance and/or ethics spaces to support, drive and lead various initiatives integral to our program.
Responsibilities
- Help drive key initiatives for Airbnb’s Ethics & Compliance Program, including employee engagement, driving the culture, training, policies, and compliance systems.
- Own key pieces of the Anti-bribery and Corruption Compliance Program, including monitoring and testing program efficacy to drive continual improvements.
- Define and track key performance indicators for the compliance and ethics program, and manage dependencies and changes.
- Support and drive training and policy attestation initiatives and reminders to boost employee compliance.
- Conduct due diligence on third party agreements and organizations
- Prepare ad hoc reports to demonstrate status of and compliance with key team initiatives
- Project manage cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Skills & Expertise
- 6-9 years program or project management experience, preferably operating a program in a regulated space.
- Certifications in project management and operations/process improvement, preferred but not required.
- Experience working in an ethics function is preferred, but not required.
- Experience working in the Anti-bribery and Corruption space, is preferred but not required.
- Experience in due diligence and vetting for legal and reputational risks for use in risk and case management initiatives.
- Ability to analyze large data sets, and create and maintain program dashboards. Experience with Tableau is preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with cross functional teams and ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Intellectually curious, open-minded, adaptable, self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and risk, and excited by dynamic change.
