European Regional Account Manager (f/m/n)

Introduction
The job holder will lead, drive and develop our business to achieve maximize sales and profit through focusing on physical (shelf & promotion) availability, negotiation, category insights and recommendations. They will engage with local teams to influence market performance and activity. As such, they will lead Petcare European centralized negotiations, whilst collating and managing cost prices and promotions across all markets.
The job holder will make range, pricing and promotional recommendations for use by the lead account manager, work with the local team to drive the profitable growth in all markets and lead the creation of specific product items, as required.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience on similar position within FMCG branch
- Working experience in cooperation with different countries will be a strong asset
- Professional experience within category management will be a plus
- Brilliant negotiation skills
- Fluent English
- The ability to create strong relations
- Distinctively analytical, structural and strategic way of thinking
- Ability to see a full picture of the process (eg. S&OP+ process), holistic view on regional cooperation between the sales teams
What would be your key responsibilities?
- Account manage and be lead contact for European Mars Pet Nutrition business
- Deliver the Pet Nutrition European Operating Plan
- Create, negotiate and deliver the European account business plan
- Make range, pricing and promotional recommendations for use by the lead account manager, work with local teams to agree Account Business plan and ensure its delivery
- Ensure communication and implementation of centrally agreed account plans (counter-parts) in all markets; represent account requirements to Supply Chain and Regional Marketing
- Lead the work on negotiation road map, pricing and activity plan per market, agree on action plans and execute negotiation tactics
- Negotiation leader for Petcare segment for European countries
- Work with Line Managers to define an inspiring plan with a holistic go-to market strategy in line with the OGSM (Objective-Goals-Strategies-Measures)
- Define and implement clear business and category development strategies for both accounts, including planning & review meetings
- Develop the Pet Nutrition portfolio and supply chain strategy and manage associated projects, as required
- Define & Implement consistent European trade terms structure & align investment level
