Job Description
Event Coordinator is accountable for the supporting and coordinating of key elements of the events program. This position requires a detailed, independent thinker who could collaborate with internal/external stakeholders, build consensus, and drive results with supervision.

The Event Coordinator works with technical marketing and media groups, key sales contacts and other functions to implement and deliver on the event plan tactics.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Coordinating simple events, including but not limited to, analysis of requirements, scoping, functional team handshakes and strategizing activities
  • Support event execution including seminars, roadshows, tradeshows, 3rd party events, etc,
  • Team work with team members to deliver the best results of events
  • Accomplish design jobs regarding to the preparation of events

Qualifications
Requirements:

  • Ability to handle multiple and complex projects simultaneously under stringent timeframes and changing priorities and conditions
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to facilitate communication, build consensus among team members, and make decisions confidently
  • Quick leaner to pick up necessary knowledge and understanding of products, programs and solutions and how an event strategy could be applied to affect customer outcomes.
  • Ability to function with little to no supervision, driving projects, reporting results, making recommendations for strategic change

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business administration, one to three years of marketing experience, events related work experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will also have experience managing an integrated marcom project, including cross-team facilitation and consensus building. Previous experience in a high technology company a plus.
