Job Description

Event: Fine Art Asia 2019

Location: Hong Kong Conference and Exhibition Centre (Wan Chai)

Date: 3-7 Oct 2019 (need to commit whole period)

Working Hours : 10:00 - 20:30 (include 1 hour no-paid meal break ; Working hours may be re-arranged subject to the needs)

Dress code: Business attire

Salary: HK$75/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet the visitors
  • Perform crowd control, ensure security of the devices
  • Carry out daily check onsite and reporting, ensure there are sufficient marketing collateral for distribution
  • Handle general enquirers related to HKPM
  • Ensure the safety of all visitors and participants visiting the booth
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Possess a recognized degree in History, Chinese History, Fine Arts, Art Education, Cultural Studies or related subjects; students studying the relevant disciplines will also be considered
  • Possess Grade "D" or above in English Language and Chinese Language of Hong Kong Advance Level Examination (HKALE) or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in event operations will be an advantage
  • Strong Interest in Chinese fine art and Chinese History, particularly the history of Palace Museum
  • Self-motivated, Presentable, pleasant, patient, independent, willing to go extra miles attitude
  • Proficiency in using online social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, WeChat and electronic devices
  • Good communication skills and presentable skills, fluent in Cantonese and English, knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
  • Interview is required
