Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day corporate event management, including managing all staff and center including reception/front of house, catering, facilities staff and vendor and support all the mechanizing activities
  • Lead the business by liaising with the business’ operational management team, and to ensure that all services provided meet brand’s needs and events are run efficiently
  • Provide event management expertise and consult or participate in the planning process; work with vendor relative to venue, room sets, AV, food and beverage and staffing options that influences and/or assists the brand in planning a successful unction and that will result in the most appropriate and effective use of the facilitates, staff and equipment
  • Ensure that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with other employees and ensuring accuracy
  • Determine and/or review appropriate event staffing levels
  • Mentor, develop and manage event planning in all these areas for maximum effectiveness on all events as well
  • Assign event planner and coordinators to events
  • Be a problem-solving and decision-making resource to certain level and standard, and adhere to all standards, policies and procedures
  • Provide and assist Communications Head to oversee the communication strategies as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Major Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years experience in event management and relevant field preferred
  • Experienced with event agency or production company
  • Proven track record in successfully planning major corporate events
  • Proficiency with software
  • Must be detail-oriented, motivated, proactive, and able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills in English and strong interpersonal abilities
  • Understanding of and experienced in producing a wide range of projects
