Event and Marketing Assistant

Job Description

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Handle events-related customer inquiries
  • Maintain ticketing records and ensuring a proper record of guest lists
  • Ensure smooth execution of each event before, during and after:
    • Co-ordination with event venue staffs and logistic partners
    • Ensuring proper staffing for all events
    • Ensuring all special customer requirements are met
    • Timely delivery of event materials e.g. glassware, wines, printed materials, place cards etc.
    • Timely setup of event materials at the event venue
    • Ensure all leftover event-materials are properly packed and get picked up after each event
  • Assist in ad-hoc administrative tasks as required, including and not limited to:
    • Photo-taking for marketing efforts
    • Maintaining social media communications and other marketing and promotional campaigns
    • Preparation of sales and marketing presentation materials
    • Translation of marketing materials between English and Chinese
    • File maintenance
    • Daily in-shop matters 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma or above with at least 1 year experience in an office environment. Recent university graduates will also be considered.
  • Strong interest in wine
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office functions
  • Familiar with social media platforms

Preferred Training and Experience: 

  • WSET qualifications
  • Sales and customer service related work experience
