Job Description

Overview 

The Events Executive is a full-time position assisting the Events Director in managing the development and delivery of the annual programme of events for ANREV around Asia Pacific.

The Events Executive reports directly to the Events Director, responsible for managing logistics in keeping with the ANREV brand and within budget. This extends to assisting the Events Director event management and securing event evaluation.

The Events Executive would also be expected to liaise regularly with all members of ANREV staff, particularly those responsible for Research and Professional Standards work to ensure that ANREV content drives the programme of events.

 

Job Description

  • Assist in venue logistics for each event including venue selection and negotiation, staging, AV, food and drinks, speaker presentations and onsite delivery
  • Manage internal events logistics such as registration (online and otherwise), marketing (website, email and hard copy), attendee packs/ materials, banners and badges
  • Ensure quality control through event evaluation in order to ensure ongoing relevance and quality of events
  • Maintenance of events database, filing and calendar of events
  • Update ANREV website, LinkedIn page, event systems and all event related online marketing materials
  • Organise the Events Committee meetings and prepare the related materials

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years working experience, candidates with less experience may also be considered
  • Knowledge in digital social media will be an advantage
  • Good command of written and spoken in English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Good presentation skills and experience in dealing with people
  • Proficiency in MS Office Tools and MailChimp
