Job Description
Events Executive
To effectively manage and facilitate all event types, from Weddings, Socials, Meetings and Conferences, while exceeding financial goals and customer expectations.

What you will be doing:
- Reconfirm and deliver all details in Sales Contract, to include, but not limited to the following; Deposit Schedules, Room Cut Off Dates, Room Block Release Dates and Rooming List Due Dates
- To establish productive relationships with all meeting planners through the planning and implementation of programs
- Plan, organise and coordinate the assigned events, to include all food and beverage, meeting room set up, recreational activities, and to ensure proper billing is maintained
- Consistently perform standards of service, interact with guests/clients and all hotel employees in a professional, gracious and friendly manner
- Guide clients by making creative suggestions regarding all aspects of event to ensure all guests expectations are met and profitable margins are in place
- Maintain a working knowledge of the operation and service capabilities of all other hotel departments and facilitates as they relate to the service of conventions
- Host site visits and menu tastings to successfully convert Wedding & Event enquiries
- Maintain effective communication within departments, by responsive to training and instruction and appraise management of any concerns, suggesting and ideas. Stay aware of issues concerning sales, catering, banquets and general hotel operations
- Issue Banquet Event Orders, and provide hotel departments with thorough information on all banquet events to ensure high levels of service and guest satisfaction
- Daily review all banquet checks to confirm that all billing was done in accord to actual requirements
- After the conclusion of an event, to work with the accounting department to guarantee a detailed and complete final bill is sent to the client
Your experience and skills include:
- The ability to manage workloads to meet daily and weekly deadlines
- A keen eye for detail
- The ability to work on multiple projects within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Your team and working environment:
- Working a fast paced team environment
- Shifts will be during the day and weekend
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UK. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining UK work authorization
