Purpose of Position
Oversee administration to meet operational demands of the office/community center, including finances, human resources, and communications as well as support ministry as required.
Lead and manage the church calendar and administrative aspects of Sunday and churchwide events in order to support a culture of mission at Watermark.
Job qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of company ordinance, auditing standards, budgeting, and basic accounting principles.
- Knowledge and proficiency in HK employment ordinance, taxation-related matters and human resources.
- Working proficiency with MSOffice, Google applications, accounting software and HRIS. Some knowledge of Graphics and Media publishing an asset.
- Personal qualities: leadership skills, verbally articulate, self-motivated, and flexible in an environment that may be subject to spurs of the moment.
- Excellent communication skills in oral and written English; Cantonese and Mandarin speaking abilities are beneficial but not required.

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee Ministry Administrator and caretaker in operational aspects of community center and routine maintenance of equipment, furniture and facilities
- Guide financial decisions by working with outsourced accountant in bookkeeping, and providing reports and analyses to Elders for review
- Ensure financial records, legal documents and audit are maintained in accordance with local laws and Church memorandum
- Oversee the welcoming and set up system on Sundays to create a friendly environment for service and look after the newcomer process.
- Plan and lead logistics and personnel for churchwide events, including lunches, retreats, outreaches, evangelistic courses throughout the year. Coordinate with ministry heads to cultivate and support mission within ministries.
- Monitor the churchwide calendar and budget, ensuring church communications are up to date, and events are on track and aligned.
- Administer operational C&B and any onboarding/termination processes, update and develop policies and procedures as required. Be involved in performance management and feedback.
