Responsible for assessing individual life insurance applications based on guidelines set for the issuance of AIA insurance policies

• Handle daily volumes of new business, requirements received for pending proposals
• Making underwriting decision based on the given authority limits
• Ensuring the processes up to the policy issue of standard / substandard proposals operate within the agreed service standards 
• Carryout a sample audit to ensure quality of underwriting and provide a monthly report
• Effectively engage to achieve the overall objectives individually assigned of the department
• Preparation of day plan considering daily volumes of new business
• Corresponding with Re-insurers in obtaining their decisions on proposed insurance covers
