Support the implementation of IFRS 17 for the business, and the coordination / communication of various actuarial multi-team initiatives and projects.

IFRS 17 implementation (75%)

• Support the development of IFRS 17 methodology, and the financial impact analyses of products / scenarios / portfolios, to enable senior management to make informed decisions regarding future strategy.
• Support the development of Prophet models and other relevant systems for IFRS 17 implementation
• Work closely with local Finance and Group Office on accounting policy, transition, processes and models / systems development.
• Assist in communicating and educating the business (e.g. Exco, other departments) on IFRS 17 and its potential impacts

Experience studies and assumptions setting (15%)

• Support the in-force management of the business via the coordination of experience studies across several actuarial teams, and the impact analysis of assumption changes.
• Communicate financial impacts to relevant stakeholders, e.g. Exco, Finance, Strategy, Product / Marketing, Group Office, etc.

Special projects (10%)

• Support ad-hoc Actuarial projects
