Job Description

These are exciting times for Intel as we pursue our new IDM 2.0 strategy. A key component of that strategy involves intensifying our engagement with governments around the world. The Global Government Affairs organization has an incredible opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the future of Intel.

The Executive Administrative Assistant reports to the Vice President, International Government Affairs and will play a key administrative role across the Global Government Affairs organization.

A successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Organize and manage complex calendar schedules, including very close coordination with Executive Leadership

  • Make extensive travel arrangements and prepare expense reports

  • Maintain agendas and assist in planning internal meetings, external engagements, conferences, etc.

  • Provide support for departmental events, meetings, and programs.

  • Manage tactical projects and large-scale department initiatives

  • Perform general administrative duties such as generating POs and paying invoices, ordering supplies, ordering gifts-recognition, etc.

  • Mentor and help integrate new administrative assistants and work closely with the Executive Assistant to the Chief Government Affairs Officer to ensure all administrative partners and staff understand department procedures and expectations

  • Maintain organizational charts, email distribution lists, and maintain accurate and detailed department records

  • Manage sensitive and confidential information discreetly

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Possess strong project management, problem-solving skills, excellent organizational and impeccable multitasking abilities with attention to detail and strong follow-through to meet deadlines

  • Extremely flexible, adaptable to an evolving fast pace environment, works well under pressure.

  • Manages assigned tasks-projects with the skills to reassess-and prioritize deadlines for upcoming commitments

  • Strong customer orientation and teaming skills

  • Strong communication and writing skills


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma

  • 7+ years of experience as an administrative assistant

  • Working experience with tools like Procurement, Workday, Concur, travel, and MS Teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Previous government affairs, public affairs, community relations, or legal experience

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$58,540.00-$87,800.00 (Hourly Role)
