TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Support VP of Global Operations for Data and Devices Business unit. Additionally, provides secondary support for Director of Marketing.
  • Plan, organize and coordinate meetings, conferences/seminars and corporate hospitality events
  • Assist in making travel arrangements and related expense reports
  • Draft correspondence, edit documents and take minutes of meetings
  • Following up on meeting minutes / agreed actions with the action owner, monitor progress and report deviation to Executive
  • Create, maintain, and update various databases and report/present data for management reporting purposes
  • Other relevant administrative tasks and problem solve, including processing purchase requisitions and managing department external licenses
  • General business support activity including telephone liaison with business intermediaries
  • Perform other related duties and managing projects as assigned

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English or other related field
  • Fluent in English, excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and customer service skills required
  • Experience in providing administrative support to senior executives is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and research skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
  • Ability to effectively develop cohesive relationships with management, employees, vendors and visitors
  • Advanced knowledge of computers, internet and software (MS Office, SAP)
  • Be willing to take responsibility and be accountable
