Job Description
In this role you will provide primary administrative support to the US Digital Industries (DI) CEO as well as the Vertical organization in the DI U.S. There may also be ad hoc support required for certain events and projects by topic. The incumbent should have very strong written and communication skills, expert MS Office skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, has excellent judgment and the ability to use discretion with regards to confidential matters. Qualified candidate has a positive attitude, is highly organized, is a team player, a self-starter, is open-minded, and thoughtful. Our U.S. DI CEO is located in the Troy, Michigan office. Another ideal location would be Alpharetta, GA but remote work candidates in other locations will be considered as well. Responsibilities: Tasks will include but not be limited to: * Participates in the preparation of presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents. * Manages the calendar and schedules meetings with MS Outlook. * Assists with the organization of meetings, workshops, and other critical events by arranging for facilities and caterer, issuing information, booking hotel rooms, rental cars, flight tickets and coordinating events. * Makes travel arrangements including international travel. Prepares expense reports and ensures submission in a timely fashion. * Interfaces smoothly and effectively with all levels of stakeholders. * Composes and processes correspondence and maintain filing system. * Orders and maintains supplies. * Proactively anticipates the needs and requirements of the leadership team being supported and acts upon those requirements independently. * Administers transactional support for procurement, expense reporting, timecards, travel arrangements, distribution lists/employee communications, liaise across the organization, etc. * Attends training classes to increase knowledge of tools, software programs, company information, time management, data privacy or other skills as required. Required experience, skills, and education: * High School diploma required, Associate Degree or higher education preferred * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Executive/Administrative Support position(s) or other field with similar responsibilities * Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook, Teams and SharePoint * Occasional (up to 10%) travel required for regional meetings, training, etc. * Ability to work accurately, efficiently, attention to detail, and complete assigned tasks thoroughly and promptly * Ability to set priorities, organize and maintain orderly records * Proven interpersonal skills and function with minimal supervision * Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary * Ability to work well in a team setting * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written * Ability to prioritize and manage a variety of tasks and meet multiple deadlines * Ability to collaborate with all sorts of people and handle difficult situations when necessary * Takes initiative to improve efficiencies as deemed necessary * Demonstrates superior customer service and problem-solving skills #LI-VM1 Organization: Digital Industries Company: Siemens Industry, Inc.
