Office: Quality & Safety Division, New Territories West Cluster (NTWC)

Pay: HK$20,801 – HK$24,611 per month

Job :
1.
To perform administrative and clerical support for the daily operation of the department.

2.
To liaise, coordinate and organize for meetings, programmes and activities.

3.
To handle enquiries, liaise and communicate with staff and clients.

4.
To handle public and patient enquires.

5.
To coordinate minor feedback and complaints with relevant departments.

6.
To carry out general clerical duties that includes filing, data entry and simple statistics and record keeping.

7.
To file and retrieve documents, compile statistics & returns and search for useful information.

8.
To perform reception services, help in counter and registration work, and provide information and assistance to patients and public.

9.
To assist in the supervision of supporting staff of the department if necessary.

10.
To perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements :
1.
University graduates with experience;

OR

2.
F.5 / S.5 AND Diploma in any discipline with experience AND with (a) or (b) below:

(a)
Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syl B) and Chinese Language, or equivalent;

(b)
5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:
l Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language; and
l Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent.

Preferable Attributes/ Exposure:
1.
Fluency in spoken English and Chinese, and preferably can speak in other languages or dialect.

2.
Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

3.
Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently.

4.
High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and word processing (both English and Chinese).

Remarks :
For Serving HA Staff
1.
The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1-3 year(s) depending on his/her existing employment terms.

2.
The offer of salary to serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies.

For External Applicants
3.
Selected candidate will be offered contract terms for 1-3 year(s). 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract.

4.
Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA.

For All Applicants
5.
May be required to perform 24-hour shift duty and to perform duties during typhoons, rainstorms and other emergencies.

6.
Selected candidate may be required to wear uniform whilst on duties.

7.
Job rotation would be arranged for the selected candidate if required.

8.
Selected candidate will be posted in Tuen Mun Hospital and may be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.

9.
Renewal of contract will depend on funding, operational needs and appointee’s performance.
