Office : Cluster Procurement & Materials Management Unit, Cluster Administrative Services Division, New Territories West Cluster (NTWC)
Pay : HK$16,994 – HK$20,656 per month
Job:
1.
To assist Hospital Managers in the provision of procurement and materials management services to the Hospitals.
2.
To perform procurement functions including product sourcing, price research, purchase requisition, tender administration and commitment monitoring.
3.
To provide clerical support to supervisor in carrying out day-to-day procurement and materials management activities.
4.
To review and analyse procurement/ consumption history for formulation of procurement plan and creation of bulk contracts.
5.
To assist in the preparation of tender documents and routine correspondence.
6.
To liaise with relevant stakeholders in the supply chain to ensure the right goods and services are delivered efficiently.
7.
To discharge materials / store management functions and asset management duties.
8.
To assist in collecting and analyzing data for management report.
9.
To support general administration such as filing and record keeping.
10.
To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
1.
University graduates;
OR
2.
Completed F.5/ S.5 AND Diploma in any discipline with relevant working experience.
Preferable Attributes/ Exposure:
1.
Preferably two years relevant working experience.
2.
Relevant experience in system management / merchandising is preferable.
3.
Possession of formal training and relevant qualification in procurement, materials or logistics management is an advantage.
4.
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
5.
Responsible, self-motivated, outgoing and able to work independently with good communication and interpersonal skills.
6.
Commitment and flexible working hours (over time during project deadlines).
Remarks:
For Serving HA Staff
1.
Serving staff who have completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent and have 2 years’ clerical experience within HA may also be considered.
2.
The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1-3 year(s) depending on his/her existing employment terms.
3.
The offer of salary to serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies.
For External Applicants
4.
Selected candidate will be offered contract terms for 1-3 year(s). 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract.
5.
Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA.
For All Applicants
6.
May be required to perform 24-hour shift duty and to perform duties during typhoons, rainstorms and other emergencies.
7.
Selected candidate may be required to wear uniform whilst on duties.
8.
Job rotation would be arranged for the selected candidate if required.
9.
Selected candidate will be posted in Tuen Mun Hospital and may be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
10.
Renewal of contract will depend on funding, operational needs and appointee’s performance.
